Optimal Outcomes Childcare Consultation

Every Child Belongs

Optimal Outcomes Childcare Consultation is a program funded by the City of Toronto through the Toronto Foundation for Student Success. Optimal Outcomes Childcare Consultation provides a community based resource to ensure the successful inclusion of children with special needs by supporting staff and building capacity in childcare settings.

The goals of the program include:

• Providing professional assessments to identify individual needs.
• Lending support to licensed childcare centres, licensed home care providers and family resource programs.
• Providing training and support to staff and families
• Developing individualized programs.
• Assisting families in accessing community services and treatment where needed.
• Liaising with school staff to ensure smooth transitions into the school system
• Utilizing a collaborative and coordinated approach to ensure effective practice.

The program is free to families and is funded by the City of Toronto through the Toronto Foundation for Student Success
