There is about 45 minutes dedicated to the homework club every evening. This is facilitated by volunteers such as York University Teacher Candidates, high school students and supervised by the Beyond 3:30 On-Site Coordinator. Students are given a designated time to complete their assignments and both the student and their parents take pride in the fact that their school work is complete and with the support they sometimes need to complete their work. When students do not have work, they help prepare the snack or are given supplementary lessons to develop their academics.
