The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) is the largest school board in Canada and as the arm’s length charitable foundation of such, the Toronto Foundation for Student Success (TFSS) is entrusted with helping many children. In 1998, the TFSS grew out of the recognized need to assist Toronto students in reaching their full academic and social capability. It was decided that the TFSS would focus initially on continuing and expanding nutrition programs and that a wider range of programs would be developed as additional funding was obtained. Read More
Hope In Action Emergency Fund
The Toronto Foundation for Student Success (TFSS) launched the Toronto District School Board’s innovative Hope in Action Emergency Fund. Developed by TFSS, the Board’s arms-length charitable foundation, it makes available funds for students with urgent needs.

Innovators Grant Pilot Program
The Hope in Action Innovators Grant Pilot Program is intended, through the Toronto District School Board’s Hope in Action Plan, to inspire and enable students to proceed with innovative endeavours to improve their local communities, by providing financial seed grants for student led projects.
